Buckden “Black” porter was first brewed for the winter 2010. Not as heavy as a stout but full of flavour with an ABV of 3.8%
Tasting notes - This dark garnet-brown beer has a welcoming aroma of biscuity malt, with a touch of liquorice and some fruit. Crisp and not too heavy, on the sweet side of bittersweet but with bitter roasted grain and contrasting fruit notes. Well roasted grain dominates the dry, bitter finish.
Also camera accredited for real ale in a bottle. Enjoy this ale at a temperature of around 12 degrees C
Some may say this is a winter drink, try it and you might want winter to stay all year round!
